Very Berry Breakfast Smoothie

This recipe is chock block full of yummy ingredients that will keep you feeling full. Don't have time for breakfast, make this smoothie instead!. The oats and yogurt in this recipe will both keep you feeling full. Oats are a source of complex carbohydrates which are a slow release from of glucose. The yogurt contains protein which helps to slow down the absorption of glucose which will keep you feeling full. Not only that but its super delicious!




Ingredients

Handful of frozen berries

1 tbsp. nut butter

1 tbsp yogurt

Small handful of oats

1/2 - 1 cup of milk


Add all ingredients into your smoothie maker and blend until smooth!


For an extra protein hit add a vegetarian protein powder like pea or hemp protein.
